Dixie Fire Rages On

The Dixie Fire continues to rage on in Northern California. According to Cal Fire, the fire is now 45% contained and has burned a total of 749,713 acres as of Thursday evening. 1,273 structures were destroyed, and it is the 14th most destructive fire in California history.

There are still over 11,000 structures currently at-risk from the blaze, and nearly 5,000 firefighters are on-scene battling the blaze.

More evacuation orders and warnings have been issued. However, the fire is still the second-largest in California history and continues to grow.
